The Ventrac EB480 Aerator offers the exact tools to address your turf grass conditions. No matter what aeration treatment your turf requires, coring, slicing, or fracturing, the EB480 can be easily configured to suit your requirements. The tines are replaced either individually or by quickly changing the entire mounting heads. This gives the EB480 both versatility and longevity to best accommodate your needs. Equipped with the Ventrac Mount System the EB480 is an excellent tool for your lawn aeration needs.

Aeration will make your lawn healthier and reduce its maintenance requirements through improved air exchange between soil and atmosphere, better soil water intake, improved fertilizer intake and use, and reduced water runoff and puddling. This creates a stronger turf grass root structure while reducing soil compaction.

The Ventrac EB480 aerator is a front mounted attachment for turf aeration. Aeration helps to revitalize and encourage root growth by increasing the oxygen supply to the root zone. It allows entry of fertilizer and organic top dressing. It also reduces soil compaction in heavily used areas. The EB480 features three different tine options. The core tine is a hardened steel 3/4″ tine. It removes a core up to three inches deep. The open spoon tine is a hardened steel 3/4 inch tine that is designed to penetrate and loosen compacted soil without removing a core. The slitter/slicer tine is a 1/4 inch steel tine that is designed to slice through thatch and turf without removing a core. The aerator frame can accommodate up to eight Ventrac weights or 340 pounds for easier penetration of aerator tines.
